Do you think wearing clear lip gloss is a distraction to customers at work?

I work at a shoe store, and I run a cash register. My lips were dry and I put on some clear lip gloss. My manager yelled at me today and said my CLEAR lip gloss looked distracting and unprofessional. Do you agree with this?

Well your manager is stupid… how can it be unprofessional???!! If anything you just want to look good so the costumers won’t look at your icky dry lips!! haha
That IS kind of crazy, but then again, it depends on where you work and stuff like that.
Just use some lip balm instead.
If its REALLY glossy it looks bad. But Ive only seen a few people with ridiculously glossy lips. They came off as kinda sleezy to me. Normal lip gloss is fine and plus it wears off anyway…
