Maybelline Color Explosion Review/Tutorial

What brushes are you using? Brand name and where did you purchase them? Thanks for the tutorial I just purchased four of the five color explosions and I wore the green today and I absolutely love it. Thanks again.

I got the purple one an wasn’t impressed with the pigment but I wanna try the green hopefully it’ll be better.

Is the dark green in that pallete matte or does it also have shimmer/glitter in it?

Can you please do a review and tutorial in the Maybelline Color Explosion in Caffeine Rush (its the neutral color palette)? (: Or recommend a video (of yours, of course) that shows a really pretty look I could make with it?

UPDATE TO THE COMMENT BELOW: I was at Target yesterday (picking up some more fave elf products) when low & behold, I found this palette & it was the LAST one in this color! I swooped it right up & can’t wait to use it according to your tutorial & also come up w/some ideas of my own. These colors are AWESOME!

I LOVE IT! Green is my FAVORITE color & I have green eyes, but I never know how to encorporate it into my look except for adding a hint in the crease along w/black. I love the way you blended the colors & which color you put where as I have, in some form, by other brands, similar greens in this palette! Yay, now i have ideas brewing! Thanks! =)

There are pink, blue, green, purple and neutral/brown. I have them all except for the neutral/brown one.

Actually Lancome Paris owns Loreal Paris and the company tookover Maybelline just a few yrs ago..hence the high pigment colors and better quality mascaras now..

please make one with the pink version?~^^

The reason they’re so similar is because L’Oreal, the company that owns Maybelline, ALSO owns Lancome…that’s why you find so many drugstore products that are similar to high-end products…a lot of times, they are pretty much the exact same thing (ie L’Oreal Color Juice lipglosses and Lancome Juicy Tubes)

I’m a new subscriber and I’m so glad you did this tutorial. I’ve been on the fence about buying this palette (I bought the Maybelline Eye Studio Color Plush Silk eyeshadow instead, which I love) but after seeing this I will now head to CVS and buy the green and brown. THANK YOU!

Maybelline belongs to Loreal, and Loreal owns Lancome. So basically they are all in the same family. Quality can’t be too different =)
